Geocaching

Found a few more caches.   Geocaching is a little addictive -- once you find one, you want to find all of them in the area you are in!

This one was called: FYW - Wolfe.  It was in an old-fashioned film canister, velcroed under a sign (took a while to figure that out).

This one is called Asheville Urban Trail.  This is a beautiful sculpture thingy in the middle of downtown.  Not only did we have to find it, we also had to identify who the sculpture was in memory of, and name a couple of creatures that were on the back side of it.  But, it was pretty easy too.

Tops for Caches -- This one was located velcroed under a little park bench!  But, once we figured it out, it was easy to find.

This one (D.M. To You), OMG, it was so difficult to find!!  First, we couldn't even find the area!  Then, when we finally did, it was buried under a bush in the median of a somewhat street (pictured below)!  Not easy at all, but we found it after getting dirty digging in the dirt (well, I didn't do the digging; I supervised!)

Geocaching is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices and then share their experiences online. (It's a super-nerd scavenger hunt!)
