Horses

While driving through Tennessee the other day, I came upon some beautiful horses in a pasture.  The horses were grazing and meandering around the pasture.  They were beautiful to look at.  Intelligent, beautiful creatures.

THEN, I get to one of the many, many towns in the U.S. that has horse-drawn carriages!  These poor horses have to haul around these lazy-ass humans all day long.  It was a hot day in Savannah, and after a few minutes, I started to sweat.  The heat there can be very intense.  Imagine the heat and having to haul around these humans with all these straps and buckles on your back?  These animals should be like the one above, grazing in a pasture somewhere.  I can't stand this tradition - but, as long as humans pay money to ride in one of these carriages, this antiquated practice will never end for these poor horses.

Such beautiful, dignified creatures!

Here's a thought -- RIDE THIS!
You can catch one on any street corner!
